I tried the dealer when I first got my 88C900T Coupe and was not happy with the service. They recharged my a/c even though it had a huge leak which was lasted two days. I had a complete inspection done and disagreed with some of the findings(stuff they missed). I had another one done that had very different results. This is a dealer that charged $85.00/hr! You dont always get what you pay for.
I've been using T-Scandia(family owned and operated) in Tigard OR for about 6 years now and they are great! Very fast, new used parts(try that at dealer), much lower labor /hour and the final price has been less than the estimate many times.
This being said, I have also been raped by Indie mechanics so you really need to look around and talk to people to find a good shop.
Cheers, KB.
