The skiing wasn't terrible, but it sure wasn't what you go to Whistler for. The glacier bowls were good, but other runs were highly variable. In the afternoon, runs that saw sun were skiable (Seventh Heaven) but runs in the shade or heavily used (Blue Line) were pretty hard and even sheer ice in a few places. Most of the cat trails were slushy or icy (depending) and littered with pebbles or stones in random places. You CAN ski to the bottom of both Whistler and Blackcomb but it is either icy or mashed potatoes most of the way. I have bruises on both my hips to prove how hard it was. Still, the scenery is beautiful and I loved it - skiied every day seven days in a row.
