A trolling motor will move it but the longer you "cruise" the weaker the charge gets and the slower the boat will go. I'd think you'd want one of the higher thrust models...40-50 pounds?
Width of boat is important when considering HP of motor. If it's under 4 foot wide, I'd think you'd not want to go over 3-5.5hp.
You might consider a "antique" outboard motor from the era the boat was built it. You can find good ones for $50-200, altho they may require some tune-up/fix-up work for that. Johnson, Evinrude, Mercury, Scott Atwater, OMC/Gale all made nice 3-5.5 hp motors in the 1950's that likely would work well with your boat. Here's a website dedicated to old outboards:

Of course, as others have mentioned, you do need to be sure the boat is still sea worthy!
