the old Saabs were load-luggers, and the artlicle states the new one is not. Not quite a "spiritual descendent," IMHO. A less optioned 9-3 SportCombi might be a closer relative.
And the cross-over they describe as being a less costly Cayenne or Land Rover as costing 25,000 to 35,000 British Pounds would be $46,000 to $67,000 right now, as the Pound is worth about $1.89. Not what is needed.
But the important thing is there are some people really thinking about this stuff, which bodes well for Saab's future.
