A narrower tire will drive thru deep snow better, but the 195's are already 20mm, or more, narrower than your summer tires. You also have to consider load capability of the tires. The 195's will/should have greater load carrying capacity, and front wheel drive cars typically have a front end weight bias. The 195's will also give a more accurate spedo reading although the difference may be under 5% error.
As if you couldn't tell by my response, I run P195/65HR15's in the winter. My summer tires are P225/50WR16's.
