when I moved-in. Before I moved in, about two years ago, I pointed out certain items that requires a fix like the blinds in the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom blinds were replaced six months after I moved in while the one in the living room remains as is. Moreover, I did a follow-up letter as an enclosure with my rent about three months after I moved in. I got the usual song/dance that the fix may be after a year from my move-in date. I also noted, in writing, that the window sill needs fixing since water gets in when it rains. I showed proof but received no immediate action. About a month ago, the roof and gutters were fixed-up while some units got refreshed with new stuff. What I found out is that the landlord/owner is fixing all of the properties; hence, I guess they were prioritizing what needs to be done. I did bring up to the apartment manager about I receive a reimbursement for the window crank. He said to give him the receipt and the damaged crank and he'll bring it up with the owner. Kind of weird, for me, since he can't make a judgement call. Let's give it a few months. Thanks!
