Right.
You have to have pretty long thumbs to reach those paddles from the bottom of the steering wheel. Kind'a like Gumbi.
Now a Saab is not a Ferrari, but if it is going to emulate one, it should go all the way, and fix the paddles to the steering column so that when you're turning the wheel they'll be right where you remembered where they were.
I would stop my b.....n, if this wasn't pretty important, as access to 2nd & 3rd gear, in certain situations, can be critical. Especially down hill on a grade of over 5% or so.
My only solice is that GM, in its infinite wisdom, did this to the Corvette too - God bless them!
