Those were the actual responses to real questions I asked. Over the years I've invested a fair amount of time understanding auto and other technologies, along with a lot of pain in DIY on my cars, but at one time way back I did work as a mechanic. I thought that the throttle body explanation was pretty creative, and tying it to gas sold by Native Americans was particularily out in left field.
It's like when my DSL goes out and I call my telco provider to complain, and I get the response that "I have bad wiring in my house" How do you know that ? "well sir we can see that the voltage in your DSL circuit is low" Really, and explain to me across what lines you take that reading, since there are no meters on my household lines. So I tell them to check their crappy wiring 1st and then come back and tell me the problem is in my house. And oh, why is there a direct correlation to a service guy at the DSLAM and my DSL going out. "sir we checked that and the technician says everything was ok", but why does the resumption of my DSL service coincide with when your service guy came out to check the DSLAM . Could it be that he repaired his original blunder ?
well if this post goes thru it means that the QWEST guys are giving me a break today, god bless em.
