Assuming PBS didn't make a mistake, it would be great for this story to receive the same level of national attention paid to recalls by the old domestic auto companies.
The initial quality differences between the major manufacturers are nearly unmeasurable now, but John Q & Jane Public are still convinced nothing has changed from the early 80's.
BTW - My wife informed me that students in her elementary school are experiencing minor (so far) home fires caused by their new X-Box game consoles. Any recall on these yet?
