you buy snow tires for your wife's car online and don't bother with the road hazard warranty because you've had only two tire repairs in the last 10 years and your wife calls you 2 minutes after leaving the house to say the left front tire is completely flat and you go down the road to find that not only is it flat but there's a screw head sticking out of the shoulder of the tire so you know it can't be repaired?

Don't ya just hate it when that happens?

Then you go to the tire store you usually use and the guy confirms the tire is FUBAR and that it will cost you $122.50 (with M&B) to replace the tire that you paid only $88 for (M&B) in November and you know you need to get this done because there's snow and ice coming later in the week and you want the car to be safe for your wife.

Isn't that a great way to start a Tuesday?

Anyway, I have a replacement tire coming from Tire Rack for $77 delivered and it'll be here Thursday along with a set of the new Valeo wiper blades (buy one get one) and I still pay less with M&B than I would locally.

At least the deal on the blades makes me feel a bit better.
