Them not being able to find a 900 close to you shows they dont know what they are doing...

When you talk to the adjuster, you need to make it clear that your car is a special model.....liken it to a "SS" "GT" "Harley Edition" etc....your car is the top offered model in the 900 model line.

A 9000 is a totally different car, it is like compairing a escort to a taurus...

You need to make them understand your side...

1. Keep telling them that their estimate is unacceptable.

2. FIND OUT WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE IN YOUR STATE...what state are you in?

3. Your miles are not high miles as they will tell you, 12k is the standard mileage permitted per year, if car is a 89 it is 18 years old and your mileage should be considered standard.

4. kbb website lists $2500 as exellent condition.

5 NADA website claims $9000 high retail, but that might be wrong...

6. You do not have to show them anything, they have to make it right in your eyes in most cases....saabnet classifieds is a viable place for them to poll sold price on c900spg.

7. Also search auto trader....for average pricing....

feel free to email me and I will give you some more info on battling them....you should not settle for less than $3000 as I previously stated....unless it was a rotbox...buyback should be around $100 from my experiance too.
