Which of course stinks. The service manager at my shop said he's seen this failure before and knows for a fact that Specialized will not warrant it. He said they changed the design on their newer models.
We're patching the bike back together but it cannot be used for hard core mountain bike riding in my opinion. I'm going to look online for a rear triangle or if need be a new frame. But I can't wait months and months to put this bike back together so I'm going to have to buy something else, which of course REALLY stinks. Good bikes, as you all know are expensive.
I'm looking at my local shop at a Rocky Mountain Element 30 or 50 and a Rocky Mountain ETSX 30 or 50. Anyone have any experiences with either? I read pretty good reviews at mtbr.
