Too soon to see if it makes any difference. I believe a two other major contributors to the problem are: only two lanes; and drivers attempting to go too fast in the left lane during heavy traffic conditions, (do they really need to travel 85+ in a 70mph zone on a crowded expressway?). I actually got stopped in Indianna ~30 years ago for driving in the left lane of an expressway. It was late at night, I was passing one car every mile or so, hardly anyone else on the road, and I got pulled over. It was a good thing all four of us in my Grand Prix were smoking cigars - the Trooper couldn't smell all the open beer cans when I powered down the driver's window!
