I bet if somebody came out with a Toyota clone for half the price, brand
loyalty will disappear.
Sure with cars, there are safety and legal issues, but the entire
industry is so darned inefficient. Even Toyota and Honda are dinosaurs
from another era.
How many PCs does IBM sell these days? And what percent of the PC market
is that? And how much better and how much cheaper are PCs now that IBM
has lost 90% of its market share?
