I had wondered about the transitions from Ricardo in the 99's to 900 slant to the 16V version and then to the straight up block and all the other changes.
One thing you didn't mention is where the latest B235R motor is made. I believe it's made in the Scania truck plant near Stockholm, but you'll likely know the correct answer to straighten me out. I know they don't build engines in Trollhattan.
