You are confronted with a number of issues in addition to keeping your lawn nice.
1. Your home owners insurance may cease to be in force if the house is unoccupied for periods greater than what is stipulated in the policy (generally 2-3 mos.).
2. If you have a water line break inside of the house the water will run for months with no one being aware....except you when you return.
Solution: You could install an automatic sump pump...AND you could have ADT monitor for that condition in addition to smoke, fire, etc.
3. Set up your heat to maintain a temperature of 50 degrees during the colder months. I've seen the damage caused by ruptured water pipes where the water ran for 3-4 months....a disaster.
4. If the locality your house is in has a water use restriction during the summer due to drought condition...you'll need to have a neighbor or friend shut things down for you.
5. If you have a mortgage, it may be valid only if you live in the house. There may be consequences if you don't. Better check now, or you could wait for a surprise.
In conclusion: You might want to contract with ADT alarm services, address the insurance and mortgage issue and make arrangements for someone to stop by on a weekly basis. Unattended, things tend to happen
