What you call "Switch Cards" are known as "Debit Cards" in the US - same low-cost rules apply. So far, exactly one customer has presented a Debit Card - I believe that most people who have cash available want a cancelled check to show payment; perhaps this is a hard habit to break.

At some point in time, I hope to have sufficient sales to renegotiate our "discount rate", the rate that our Merchant Service is charging to process credit card transactions. One thing that I have tried to enforce is obtaining enough information on charges to get the lowest rate possible, i.e. address and zipcode verification plus the security code on the back of the card.
