Not sure I care much about the V6. Depends what you're going for: compete with BMW (GM strategy which failed), then yes. Compete with Volvo/Subaru, then not really, except maybe for the top end 9-5... Imho forget the V6, get a performance hybrid (aka Recharge) out asap!
Your #2 is a big one. Why price a car $10k over what you sell it for?? Subarus outsell Saabs around here 100 to 1 (or more), yet cost the same after discounting. None of these Subaru owners have even sat in a Saab let alone driven one...
#3 I agree, though perhaps for a different reason: Saab needs to get new non-GM models out ASAP. I *hate* model churn. I would much rather see stability in the lineup (c900 lasted 15 years, og9-5 12 years). But I think it's going to be a lot easier to sell cars that don't have that "GM is crap" association (for whatever minimal amount of truth there is). K-Group is saying the right things. Let the Swedish engineering talent come up with some really cool innovative cars again.
