Here's my situation: I am pusing 66 years old and have been a die-hard Saab owner since 1971. I drove my '71 99E for 24 years, then bought my current 1995 900S. Both have served me very well, and I'm not ready to sell the 900S. My wife (of six years) doesn't share my love (or knowledge) of Saabs. We have $'s burning a hole in our pockets, so she is wanting to upgrade from her 1995 Acura Integra to a safer and more reliable model.

I would gladly buy a 2009 or 2010 9-3 or 9-5, but the nearest dealer in Spokane, WA has no new Saabs in their inventory. There is only one Seattle dealer that is showing 2009 models: a 9-5 Griffin for $44385, 9-3 Sports Aero sedan for $43800, and a couple of convertibles and one SportCombi that I'm not interested in.

So I'm in a pinch: look up and down the west coast for a new Saab when I don't have the opportunity to sit in or test drive one, or buy the loaded 2008 MB C300 that would cost about $42000 if purchased new?
