If Saab is truly finished, which I doubt it is, prices for parts will probably go down eventually, then increase as the cars become more "collectible". I'd bet that dealers will stay open as service centers, because GM has to honor the warranty for a period of time. Then when it's no longer feasible to keep your Saabs alive, go buy something German.
Same boat for me, have a '95 9000 and an '01 9-3 convertible to keep alive. Just dumped about $2,000 into the 9k last week for a headgasket and timing chain so that one should be all set for a long time.
But, I highly doubt that Saab is going to die...this isn't Saturn or Pontiac that we're talking about here, this is a viable European car with lots of valuable technology invested in it.
