First, there are laws in the US that require manufacturers to continue providing parts for something like 10 years. This mean new OEM parts for lots of Saabs will still be around.
Then there's all the parts makers. Outside of major assemblies like engines, trannies, subframes, and original unibody parts, doors, etc., the auto manufacturers don't necessarily make a lot of parts. They are largely subcontracted. The companies that make the bits and pieces aren't dummies and they will continue making parts for Saabs for a looonngg time.
Anyway... you can still readily get parts for just about anything. A friend of mine can still get parts for his three pre-WW2 MGs, and one of them is one of 9 like it on the planet. Mostly aftermarket, but still do the job. In his business, he also has parts for older Mustangs and Corvettes manufactured and sells them through a bunch of outlets.
Fear not. Parts will be around.
