We've owned 6 Saabs in 23 years - 3 used, 3 new. All have been excellent, reliable and affordable to keep on the road, and we've owned other things during that time which didn't do as well as the Saabs on upkeep, and the Saabs have gone MANY miles.

We aren't in a position to buy new easily but after going through this roller coaster for so long we will do everything we can to buy new again and support a new owner if someone manages to make get GM to sell.

All of our Saabs have been hatchbacks and we'd like the next one to be another wagonback / hatch as well, but if we could swing it financially I suppose we both like the convertibles enough to get one made in Trollhattan. We really liked having convertibles as loaners from the dealer.

It does hurt that they go so many miles and that I hate to part with any of them. But we will go for new to support a new owner.
