after 1000 miles of driving it, I'll say a few things:
1) it's huge. we call it "canyonero"
2) it drives like a water bed suspended on a pile of marshmallows
3) it feels a little underpowered for it's weight, yet it gets poor fuel economy.
4) fit + finish not too bad for gm, leather seats mediocre but ok, better than anticipated
I don't doubt Acadia is competitive in it's segment. I don't understand why anyone would buy one of these vehicles. a 9-5 wagon can hold all the same stuff we are taking (including 3 bikes + a surfboard) + it is 100x more enjoyable to drive.
Gargoyle: my advice, get another 9-5 instead. Make passengers 6 + 7 walk. See swede-murphy's comments in the previous link.
