from Apple (i.e. made in China by Foxconn) and now you don't want to buy Volvo cars made in China ??
BMW has been making cars in China (with Brilliance Auto) since I don't remember when. Other car manufacturers have been making "European" cars in China (for local consumption) for years, i.e. VW/Audi. Not to mention the "new" Buick Regal, that has been made in China since 2008 ??
It's unlikely cars made in China under JV with European car makers will be exported as China will consume whatever produced inside China. China is the world's biggest car market. The reason foreign car makers produce cars in China is proximity to market and lower production cost. Unless they have excess capacity, you might see some Chinese made European badged cars to be exported to other countries.
