All of a sudden today, our water pressure dropped to almost nothing. We're on a well, so the first thing I checked was the pressure tank. It's still sitting at 50psi. I also verified we don't have a massive leak somewhere that could be diverting the water. Having found none, I'm left with the conclusion that something has partially blocked then pipe somewhere between the pressure tank and where it splits off to the hot water tank (the pressure is low for both hot and cold). Is this a safe assumption, or have I missed a possibility?
I noticed there doesn't seem to be a sediment filter in the system, so I'm thinking maybe I should add one in the process of this repair.
