There is a shut-off valve between the tank and the hot/cold split. It's a newer, ball valve type, open all the way. There's a spigot right after the tank (presumably for draining), before the main shut-off valve, and there's good pressure there (the only place in the house where there is good pressure). It's really weird that the pressure drop occurred so suddenly, with no apparent precursor. I have a bunch of pipe, fittings and valves now; I plan to start taking it apart tomorrow morning.
