I am VERY glad I read this posting as I have been shopping around at a few NY tri-state dealers for a leftover 2011 OR a 2010 car.

It's amazing what the different dealers are saying. . . . NONE are denying the imminent death-knell but few have done any fire-sale discound pricing beyond Saab loyalty, dealer cash, etc. At least one NJ dealer has flat out admitted that he doesn't know if he will be able to honor the warranty and all to whom I have spoken (or visited) have respected my comments that I'd love to buy one of their cars and trade my 2007 SS in BUT that I have to wait at least until we see if Saab lives or dies.

Very sad indeed . . . especially seeing that some of these dealers have been in business since the beginning of Saab, literally and they ONLY sell Saabs . . . they will just die along with Saab.
