This is the General board steve. Wikipedia, or anything else for that matter, has been fair game and open for debate on here (if you haven't noticed). I assume you are not in charge of moderating topics on here, correct? I'm pretty sure Scott does this...
Sam is correct though, Youngman has nothing to do with Lotus Cars. There was originally a collaboration with Proton of Malaysia (who owns Lotus Cars) and Lotus Engineering. The idea was for Youngman to build Proton cars under license, where Lotus Engineering originally developed those cars. The brand Youngman was using is Europestar.
I believe that partnership has since been dissolved and there were separate issues with Youngman inappropriately using the Lotus name. It gets complicated in China, because they are actually using different symbols for what sounds like the same name, etc., etc.
There are articles out there explaining the issue, but they aren't the easiest to find, and sometimes not the easiest to understand (because they have minor errors here and there). Botton line, Youngman has nothing to do with Lotus Cars...
