ordered parts from eEuro and one was switched, should I Posted by Gregg [Email] (#677) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gregg) on Wed, 12 Dec 2012 06:27:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
be concerned.
I placed an order last week with eeuro (the first since new ownership, but wanted to give them a chance) and when I opened the package last night the ball joint sent (meyle) was not the ball joint ordered (nordic). 1. Should I be at all concerned about the quality of the ball joint? Or, is this just a matter of all the same parts coming off the same line and being reboxed. 2. I had no indication from eEuro that they would be (or are) substituting parts to something different than what is listed on the website. I'll grant you that I just went the cheap route on this by not getting the genuine part, but I still feel as though I'm getting duped here.
In the 12 years that I've owned Saabs I've always gone to eEuro first for parts, (heck, they are second in my bookmark bar below saabnet) but now I'm really considering RM Euro, or the Saab Site as my first stop when shopping for replacement parts.
Has anyone else experienced similar results lately?
Thanks in advance.
