Trying to avoid an outright political argument here, but what ARE we doing militarily in the Mideast and why are there huge tax breaks for oil companies (exploration and drilling incentives among others) when they are making record profits? I'm happy to see our government do something proactive to try to eventually eliminate these huge expenditures.
I happily took advantage of the same tax breaks available to Tesla owners to turn our $33,000 Chevy Volt (MSRP is $34,950) into a $22,500 car - and thanked everyone here last year when I did so. After a year of almost no gasoline purchases for that car and a small increase in my electric bill, I'm thanking you still.
