That's a decent idea, but would probably involve two window lift hardware assemblies, and then you would need to build a cradle between them for the TV. OK ill spill my idea: a high lift automotive scissor jack, the kind they use for leveling camping trailers. Some have 12V motors attacheted to them already. I did some brief searching and there are some that have a range of 24" to 30"...I think that just might be enough to span the height of the TV top to bottom. Cradle and mechanicals all in one, rig a motor to the screw either by flexible (rubber hose) connection or pulley and belt, add limit switches and an on/off reverse circuit, install inside a chest of drawers from a local antique/gently used furniture dealer and you have a pretty low cost DIY very cool creation. Easier said than done eh ?
