I don't get too many flats while road riding in Chicago, but it's a very different story when mountain biking in Arizona when visiting my family - lots of tiny little thorns from the native desert plants. I typically get one puncture per ride, try to patch when I'm at home, but usually face a dried out tube of rubber cement!
