Absolutely. What I meant was that the change in body type to some degree attracted a different sort of buyer. There are more sedan buyers in the market, but the hatch was a relatively defining saab feature... but what do I know - I somehow ended up with 3 sedans!! ha! Though I really had wanted a 9-5 wagon, there just were so few on the market when I was looking... I opted for a SAAB sedan vs a wagon of some other sort (eg Volvo)...
Anyway, yes market forces caused downfall economically... but the designs had already been shifting for a number of years...
going forward, as used saabs dwindle, I suppose I am interested in Volvo, Tesla, and the Germans roughly in that order, at least at this point...
