Hi All,
Since you're all a wealth of knowledge, thought that possibly someone could help us.

Currently we use a company named Total Protect to cover our home systems and appliances. Have used them one year with fairly poor results and now the company has informed us that their deductible will be going up.

In case you're not familiar with companies like this, they come and fix large appliances, air conditioning, heating systems along with plumbing and electrical issues.

Personally I don't like warranties like this, but my wife feels it's necessary to cover these, so we don't have any Large Expenses in the future. Companies like this also say that IF the appliance can't be fixed they will replace with same or similar product. Some of these companies put a limit on how much they'll pay and in reviewing competitors, some pay as much as $750. for a refrig. Our refrig cost over 3,000 a few years back, so - so much for replacement..

IF anyone has had positive experience, please let me know.
