I completely agree.
A friend of mine bought his daughter a BMW 323 last year with no options on it whatsoever. He had to special order the car! The dealership couldn't understand why he wanted such a basic model, but both he and his daughter just wanted to go basic on the BMW.
I was tempted by a base 9-3, but I kinda wanted some of the luxury features so I went with the SE. If I was to do it all over again, I might be tempted by a nice and basic S, maybe with the heated seats and CD, but that's all I need.
Luxury be damned,
Andrew
