4 months w/ OnStar and I AM NOT IMPRESSED...

I have a 2001 9-3 SE and thought that OnStar would be a great convenience. But it's not. [Let me just say that I am very glad I have OnStar due to the safety features it provides, like automatic airbag deployment notification and stolen vehicle tracking.]
Here's why I don't like it:
-The operators ALWAYS tell me that there is a bad connection and that I am breaking up, and tell me to repeat the name of whatever I'm looking for. It is soooo much faster to call 411 on my cell phone and get the number in 30 seconds. Since this is what I use OnStar for 90% of the time, I don’t think I will be paying $35 / month when my year is up.
-50% of the time I am put on hold before reaching an operator.
Does anyone else notice that the connection is always poor? I can hear the operator just fine but for some reason my end is always breaking up (or at least that’s what they say). Saab or OnStar needs to remedy this problem immediately if they want us to re-subscribe. My guess is that very few will. That’s too bad, because the technology is so close to being useful.
