Car glaze by 3M need more info on it before I try using it

Hey car care freaks,
I bought 3M car glaze a long time ago which is not a wax but is supposed to give my car that "wet look". I am tempted to use it but I want to make sure that it is OK to use on top of the wax job I did 2 weeks ago. Will it take wax off? What is the difference between this "glaze" and a polish?
Any help or info is appreciated in advance. Thanks,
Atul
