Thanks for the info Ian -- I may indeed need a hand when I do the install. Fortunately, I leave for Tuscany tomorrow. I'll have to look at it when I get back.
BTW: I'm not worried about fitting the mast in the existing hole. I'm concerned about making a watertight seal. The existing hole is on an angle (near the edge of the hatch), and the FUBA is meant to be mounted on a flat surface.
1) What did you hook the power lead up to?
2) Does your new antenna seal the existing hole?
