Hey Kirk,
It should fit the existing hole... the metal part on the base of the fuba will fit into the hole (at least it did on my car). The interface is funky and I did run a new wire. This isnt something that's very difficult and you wont have to take apart the dash to run the wire. Just take up the driver's side door saddle and pull down the carpet in the hatchback on the driver's side. You can run the wire through there, under the back seat, under the carpet under the driver's seat. Then, look under the dashboard, take out the screw on the left that's holding up the black plastic heater duct and pull it down. It's very flexible plastic, it wont break. If your stereo is mounted on the top DIN (mine is mounted on the bottom) you'll probably have to take out the top speaker grille and fish the wire up from the carpet behind the dash up to the top and pull out your stereo and stick your arm in there and pull it through.
I did the install in about 30 mins... i'm sure you'll be fine. Maybe an hour at the most if you never took apart these things before.
Sorry if you know all the stuff I just told you, I dont really know your experience :) Good luck and feel free to e-mail me or post a question.
