Well, for better or worse, Saab itself certainly owes you nothing, and the dealership most likely doesn't either - banning a spat of goodwill. Lemon laws generally only apply to new vehicles, and used vehicles still under the manufacturer's warranty. Most used vehicles are sold "as is". Thus the old adage about getting a used car checked out by a mechanic before signing anything. In my experience, some used car dealers will clean a car up just enough to roll you off the lot. Most states require them to sign an affidavit stating that there are no known issues with the car. On the off chance, you might want to check one of those VIN check sites, and see if the vehicle shows up for anything. A longshot, but worth a moment (I think they give one away). Unfortunately, since it's used, unless you can get the dealer's ear, there may not be a lot of options for you... :-(
