I agree with you. Even Saabs look less distinctive now. However, they're still different, especially the 9-3, from other cars and that's one reason why so many of us like them. I love looking at my 9-3 after 2.5 years of ownership. Hopefully, the new 9-3 will not be too bland but I have my doubts.
As for new Bimmers, I happen to think they are beautiful. Haven't made up my mind about the new 7 series, but at least it's not exactly bland.
