Yes, I remember when "real" BMWs had round taillights. But I agree, as everyone has tried to make their cars "aero", they all begin to look more or less the same. I also remember when you had a BMW 1600 or 2002, a SAAB 99, etc. you would get waves from others driving the cars as there were not that many around. And you could easily find your car in the parking lot because, well, it just looked different.
