Thanks for your input, Buck. If you have worked at Clews for 14 years, I am sure that you have worked on one or more of the 12 SAABs I have had serviced there, everything from a '59 93, through a 96, a 95, four 99s, three 900s, and two 9000s. I was told today by Bob Uhler that he thought I have been a Clews customer longer than any of all their customers. It has been a great 32 years for me, and I have always been impressed by the quality work and honesty of the service department there. And the sales department was always accomodating and easy to deal with. If it hadn't been I would have gone somewhere else to buy my cars, but I kept coming back to Clews because it was very different than most other car dealerships.
Although I truly do feel that I'm losing a friend, I also hope that the General Sales SAAB franchise works out for all of you who are going there. I certainly will continue to bring my cars to you guys for service, and I wish all of you nothing but the best in your new adventure. I only hope that General Sales appreciates the quality personnel that they are getting from Clews, and that they have the same policy of service and honesty toward their customers. Since they are losing Oldsmobile, they need another line of cars badly, since Cadillacs aren't selling that well any more! Best of luck to you, and thanks for responding to my email.
