My father and I run lead substitute in the antique cars we own, I use CD2 Alemite. It comes in a big squeeze bottle, treats something like 500 gallons for ~7.00 @ walmart. A significant difference between engines designed for leaded and non-leaded gas is the hardness of the valves and valve seats. Running unleaded gas often leads to burnt valves and eroded valve seats. Not sure if that would be the case in a newer motor like a v-4, but I'm not sure I'd risk it.
