It was one of those Wagner ("Ride of the Valkyries"?) airless guns with the backpack paint tanks. Back when I got it, the cost was about $160.
It worked pretty well, other than being noisy as hell. Like Dave said, most of the time was spent moving the ladder. Once you master thinning the paint and remember to spray up to get the bottoms of the clapboards, it's easy.
