but I don't think the Mazda is in the mid-size sedan category. It is somewhere between a Corolla and Camry, I think you know what I mean.
The Altima would come right after Maxima. The Maxima still has better fit and finish, and better material quality than the Altima.
As for VW, it actually would have made my list if not for reliability issues. If the VW is more reliable, I would put it at the same level as the Accord.
