. . . to describe automotive marketing in the US as a simple matter of giving the people what they want. I for one would embrace stripped down versions of either the new 9-3 or the 9-5, but neither is available here in the states. I doubt I'm alone.
Please don't mistake "hot dogging" as liberties taken by aggressive marketing campaigns who's only intent is to get us to spend more money. The truth is likely somewhere between desire and lack of choice.
