The Cadillac version of the Avalanche was made at one of the Mexican plants, maybe Toluca? The 9-4X and its Cadillac twin were made in Ramos Arizpe.
This always bothered me, that GM would build their expensive vehicles in a neighboring country where labor rates were maybe 10-15% of the US.
Lots of F150's come out of Mexico as well. I wonder how many of the F150s seen on the road with "Buy American" bumper stickers have a VIN showing point of assembly in Mexico.
