I love the Ford Fusion Hybrid. It was my regular preference when renting cars while traveling. It is too bad that Ford discontinued this model. It was the right size and got great gas mileage. I currently drive a Toyota Prius Prime plug in hybrid. Which works well for me most of the time. In warmer weather I can get over 30 miles of EV before the hybrid kicks in. That being said, I order a BMW i4 pure EV, which I should have in the next couple of weeks. It has an advertised range of 300 miles. I am planning on closer to 250 - 275 miles. We have three locations at a distance that we travel to for vacation get aways, all of them less than 200 miles with ev charging stations near by. 90% of my driving is less than 60 miles round trip. I have a level 2 charger in my garage so at home charging will not be a problem for me. If I had a lot of longer trips I would consider a Tesla because of their charging infrastructure.
