in those cars for a long drive. Do this, get another saab, like a 9000 and then you will have two that you can use to rotate for service.
You will not like riding in a civic or corolla for long rides. Riding in a Neon or Saturn, well I don't really know what to say about that. I don't think I am a snob, but I wouldn't be seen in one of those....no offense to anyone here who has one.
One way you really couldn't go wrong, get a mid 90s accord or camry. Good milage, reliable enough that you could weld the hood shut. Also, they are a lot more solid and comfortable that the cars that you were looking at. You won't feel like you are driving a shoebox.
